Paul Young,author of The Shack, spoke November 9th at a fund raiser for the Parish Resource Center . This best selling novel has touched the lives of thousands of persons. At the end of his almost two hour presentation, you could have heard pin drop in the audience of 800. While Paul's personal story is amazing, I was particularly touched by the story of his mother and how an event in her life as a student nurse in 1946 would come full circle to reconcile her to her author son whom she thought had written something heretical.
